A few months ago now I went on my first Footloose tour and I promised our tour leader Scott Finestone that I would write a few words here to say how wonderful he was!
The whole trip was absolutely fantastic. From San Francsico to LA, everywhere we visited was amazing, stunning scenery, great hikes, good food, beautiful campsites, but most importantly excellent company. I don't think I have laughed so much in my life.
The highlights for me were: camping at Kodachrome and Cathedral Gorge, watching the sun set and the moon rise, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP and Las Vegas, mad but so much fun.
Scott was, in his words, the "finest one". He organised everything brilliantly, while still giving the impression that we had some freedom and independence. I felt that was important in a group of more mature (only in age!!) people.
Thank you to Scott and the whole Footloose team for putting such an enthusiastic, diverse and fun bunch of people together and for making my trip one I will never forget.
P.S. If anyone isn't sure about trying a Footloose trip, you're not too old, you're not too unfit, get out there and do it.
