21 days from
New York to Seattle
|
After exploring the quaint cobblestone
maze of the Old City, you will need to summon up all of
your energy to survive the cosmopolitan streets and nightlife
of Montreal.
Continuing west, you will come to beautiful Toronto, towering
over the shores of Lake Ontario. A visit to the top of the
CN Tower
is included, for the best 360-degree view of the city.
From Toronto,
the next stop is Niagara
Falls. After viewing the roaring falls from above, you
will experience them up-close, on the "Maid of the
Mist" boat trip taking you right to the base of the
falls. Leaving Niagara behind, you will cross Lake Huron's
Georgia Bay by ferry and head for the north shore of Lake
Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes. In this region,
known for its vast evergreen forests and unlimited tranquil
lakes, you can rent canoes for some fun on the water.
|
|

The old fur-trading depot of Thunder Bay will be your gateway
to the vast Canadian Prairies where you will pass through
small towns with names such as Moose Jaw and Medicine Hat.
After visiting the two main prairie cities of Winnipeg and
Regina, you will encounter the cowboy culture of Calgary
as you prepare to enter the stunning Rocky Mountains. Banff
National Park awaits with an abundance of hiking trails
and mountain scenery.
At the end of the day, you will relax in the Sulphur Mountain
Hot Springs. After visiting Lake Louise, the most-photographed
spot in the Rockies, you follow the famous Icefields Parkway,
north to Jasper
National Park, where you will have the opportunity to
hike at magical Maligne Lake.
Entering British Columbia, you can enjoy a thrilling whitewater
rafting trip before heading for a two-night stop in Vancouver.
You can explore the old Gastown area, enjoy the many bars
and cafes or rollerblade around the totem poles in Stanley
Park, before ending your trip across the border in Seattle."
