From Seattle, you cross into Canada
to experience the beauty of the North Cascades and the Okanagan
Valley on the way to Yoho
National Park, with high wooded mountain slopes and shale
fossil beds. Heading further into the Rocky Mountains, Banff
National Park awaits! Banff is packed with peaks, valleys,
icefields, rivers, lakes and an abundance of wildlife.
After a day of shopping and sightseeing in the historic
city of Calgary, you enjoy the glacial green waters and
scenic surroundings of Lake
Louise.

The Icefields Parkway winds north
through the heart of the Rocky Mountains to the Athabasca
Glacier, before entering the diverse terrain of Jasper
National Park. Jasper abounds with vibrant turquoise
lakes and beautiful views of the Rocky Mountain wilderness.
Wells
Gray Provincial Park provides another spectacular array
of scenery, including large lakes, extinct volcanoes, lava
beds and countless waterfalls.
Next is a visit to the great port
and cultural center of Vancouver. Spend the day visiting
the many museums and parks or the busy Granville Market.
At night, sample the lively cafes and bars of Western Canada's
"crown jewel". The last three nights are spent
on Vancouver Island where you will discover the fantastic
features of the Pacific Rim National Park. Here you will
find beaches, tranquil waterways and a rugged coastline
where you can try your hand at kayaking with sea lions,
or join a whale-watching expedition. The journey comes to
a close with a scenic ferry ride back to Seattle."
