"The Cross Country North provides an excellent cross-section of the northern United States. You travel through the Great Lakes region, across wide-open Plains, into the Badlands and across the Salt Lake Desert to the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

You begin in New York City, then head north to Niagara Falls. After an unforgettable visit to the Falls, you head for the Great Lakes and the third largest US city, Chicago. There's time for sightseeing, and to enjoy Chicago's vibrant night life, before crossing into Sioux Indian Country. We visit Mount Rushmore, where US Presidents' heads are carved into the mountainside, and the moon-like landscapes of Badlands National Park.

You visit the old Western town of Deadwood, where you can try your luck at Kevin Costner's casino, 'Midnight Star'. From there you travel further into the Old West, through the Bighorn Mountains, to Cody... the Rodeo capital of the world!

Next you experience the unique landscapes of Yellowstone National Park, where the geyser Old Faithful, shoots high into the air every hour. Heading south, you encounter the outdoor adventure playground of Jackson Hole, before visiting Salt Lake City, famous home of the Mormons.Crossing the vast stretch of Nevada, you reach the resort town of Lake Tahoe, and then Yosemite National Park, where you can relax in the tranquility of the park, before heading for the streets of San Francisco, and all that they have to offer. The Pacific Coast awaits you as you head south to Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the beaches of Los Angeles."
