How do I Become a Tour Leader

Bryce Canyon Arms In Air All tour leader applicants must be American citizens and be at least 23 years of age (insurance requirement), have a clean driving record, good communication skills, and a keen interest in meeting people from all over the world. Please note that we do not hire non-U.S citizens for tour leader positions.

Initially, please contact our Operations Office by e-mail at personnel@premiereops.com for an application form. Once we have received your completed application and have had time to review it we will get in touch with you. We do require an in-person interview due to the nature of the position. If you do not live close to one of our operations bases (Los Angeles, New York, or Seattle), we also have former employees positioned throughout the United States to assist in interviewing process.


Who Are We?

Horseshoe Bend Grand American Adventures offer small group adventure tours for an international crowd who want to experience North America. Our type of tours are the best way to discover this continent with a unique combination of sightseeing and adventure activities and going "where the crowds can't go".

We explore America on trips that take you to big cities, National Parks, beaches, small towns, and many places away from the tourist routes.


What Are We Looking For?

Half Dome View We are looking for safe, adventurous, dynamic, flexible, reliable and organized U.S citizens for tour leader positions for our adventure camping, walking & lodging programmes. A leader organizes outdoor activities, provides city sightseeing excursions and arranges nighttime entertainment; teaches campground etiquette and handles camp chores ranging from cooking to loading the equipment onto the trailer.

A leader performs daily administration tasks such as accounting, handling all driving, arranging the daily logistics, researching unfamiliar territory and managing the ever-changing group dymanics. Our tour leaders cetainly are an incredible collection of individuals - both men and women - and represent a variety of backgrounds.. in a word: diverse!

When Do We Want You?

Canadian Rockies Group Summer tour leading jobs usually run from late March through the middle of September, but we are looking for good people and we will employ you for a shorter or longer period.








Special Skills?

CA Highway Sign Americans with foreign language skills and a good sense of North American geography, history and culture should consider those qualities a bonus.

However, the Grand American Adventures tour leader experience is not for everyone! If you are one of the individuals whose motivation is ignited by this type of challenge and whose lifestyle is compatible, or can become compatible, with this concept then, please let us learn more about you.
